TENS Therapy

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) therapy is a form of electric stimulation therapy that specifically targets nerve-related pain. It involves using a small, battery-operated device that delivers low-voltage electrical currents to electrodes placed on the skin. These electrodes are strategically positioned near the area of pain or along the nerve pathways. The common uses of TENS therapy are Chronic Pain, Acute pain, and Muscle Stimulation.

Procedure for TENS Therapy
    • Painful Area: Place electrodes around or on the area of pain.
    • Nerve Pathways: Place electrodes along the pathways of the nerves associated with the pain.
